STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Successful careers require mastery of these subjects. HEDOF wants to sponsor several camps open to secondary school students to provide a solid foundation in these subjects. Students need a solid background in each of these studies, and African youth can build a solid career path mastering these subjects.

One of HEDOF’s primary programs is helping poor, underserved Africans, many in rural villages far from medical services. The number of residents that desperately need help is significant, and our ability to serve is limited. We need help.

HEDOF’s Health and Environmental Educational Program, known as HEEA KONEKT, helps African youth make the critical connection between health and the environment. HEEA KONEKT Fellows receive immersive health and environment education. Upon graduation, they become sustainability leaders in their respective communities. A truly life-saving experience.
